Barnett Outdoors

Premium Crossbows of all Kinds

The Brief

Working with the Akantro team, I was able to participate in the enhancement of the Impulse theme. The primary goal was to modify the theme to match business requirements and design specifications. These requirements included a product menu; a 360 viewer; metafields for product specifications, modified text column sections, and much more. One of the most impactful enhancements for the Barnett product was the product mega menu. By default, the Impulse theme doesn’t display collections or groups of products. The goal behind the dropdown was to make the extensive collection of products more accessible to potential customers. By making the products more available, this potentially can raise conversions. Overall, the design is simple, but implementation required an in-depth understanding of liquid and JavaScript to not only display products, but display them in distinct categories. This was one of many contributions to the Barnett Outdoors project that provided an overall 200% increase in sales after the migration effort.

360 Magic is an app integration that displays your product in 360 degrees. Product mockups that provide a 360 view increase conversions. 360 viewers provide the closest experience to 3d models, and 3d models provide a 94% increase in conversions.

Megamenu provide a means a faster means of getting customers to the products they want. This megamenu is a modified implementation of the Impulse megamenu, and the goal was to make the extensive collection of products more accessible to potential customers. By making the products more available, this potentially can raise conversions.
